Re: ?? Question about AP repeater and AP WDS

If it is an AP then it is what is says: an Access Point. Which means you can wireless connect with a WiFi STAtion to it.

If if it is Bridge/Repeater it only bridges the wifi signal, and you can NOT connect with a WiFi STAtion to it. Repeater just means it has no ethernet cable attached to it: it repeats the wifi signal between e.g. two other 3100's.

Keep in mind they all need to be at the same channel/band. And there is no standard and it is chipset dependable. So e.g.. a G-570U will NOT bridge with a NWA-3100.
