<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/189603"><b>Stiofan</b></A> : If you want to erase the hard drive, download a program called <A HREF="http://dban.sourceforge.net/">DBAN</a> and install it to whichever medium you want, CD or floppy.  It will completely rewrite your hard drive.  Nothing will be recoverable.  You can try your reinstall disks after that.  If they don't work, you have a hardware problem.]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/1549001"><b>ironwindow91</b></A> : my hp Compaq notebook crashed so i put my windows xp recovery disk in too (boot from cd) repair windows and it goes to a blue screen and says error so i restart and ask it to just reload windows and the same thing blue screen and error it will not reload nor will it repair windows so how do i rewrite the hard drive to 00000's so i can reload windows i have tested the hard drive it passed so if you have a Compaq and could call tech support and ask the $50 question because my warranty in up and they want to charge me $50 to answer a simple question i would greatly be thank full too anyone who could answer this Q how do i rewrite the hard drive to 0's so i can just reboot windows with my recovery disk please help the poor and frustrated one]]></description>
