| Different download/upload speeds
Hey, my roommate and I are sitting in the same room on the same wireless network, but according to www.speakeasy.net/speedtest my roommate is able to get more than 2x download/upload speed than I am. He is running a laptop on vista, while i'm running xp pro. We are also using a linksys wireless router. Any ideas what is the problem? |

Alright, when i did what was recommended by the tester, it didn't really make any changes to my speed when i tested it. Is there anything else i could try? Thanks |

yes i restarted the laptop and there was no change in speeds |

I made changes to the RWIN and the QoS packets |

Fort Frances, ON | What RWIN values did you try? Forget the small increments they suggest. Go BIG or go home. Did you try RWIN scaling? |
