Re: Let's keep all DOCSIS 3.0 Discussion in this thread, please said by joejoe20 :
Rick you are correct. 10/21/08 is the roll out for NNE. 6/1 downloaders will be doubled to 12/2. all 8/2 downloaders will be 16/2 for free.
The 22/5 will be 62.95 The 50/10 will be 139.95 For me $62.95 for 22/5 service sounds very reasonable. How bout it dadio? Guess some of us gotta wait for the DOCSIS rollouts to occur. |

You'll need a channel bonding modem for that. |

|
 | reply to plat2on1 Yeah, I'm right outside Boston, I dont know if that counts as "northern" new england, but will post if I get any speed increases! I currently have the 8/2 plan. |
|
 | reply to plat2on1 NNE = Ma, Nh, VT, CT (Three Rivers?) (ME?)
for the new speed tiers (both 22 "ULTRA" and the 50 "EXTREME") it is a separate modem from the EMTA. |

A few other markets I noticed as roll outs (no dates) were Seattle, Philly and previously mentioned New England.
The 20 / 5 tier will require a D3 modem and the modems used will be Cisco DPC3000's
