NFL Network

Hi I live in Anderson, Indiana and when I try to watch the NFL network I get a screen that says for ordering hit the info button. I've always had NFL network with my digital service.
Has anyone else in central Indiana notice this?

The NFL Network is now part of the sports entertainment package, for which there is an extra charge.

That was the last straw for me. Between the poor routing and latency with Comcast's internet service and now this. They will be getting a call from me tomorrow to cancel all of it.
This is Bullsh**!

The NFL network has ALWAYS been an extra charge on Comcast through the sports and entertainment package. Comcast and the NFL went to court over it, so you must have been using a different cable company or satellite provider.

It's $5/mo and you get some other sports programming and a movie channel. Not exactly break the bank territory.

I was with Insight before, which the NFL network was included. You are right an extra $5 is not breaking the bank but I already pay $150 month. But since Comcast took over this area they already raised the monthly service 6% and now this. Not a very good way of saying "welcome to Comcast"!

switch to satellite or a phone company if available. I have both comcast and dish network and use that as a playing card between the both.

Actually, it was just part of one of the digital tiers until about August of last year; that is when Comcast switched it over to the Sports and Entertainment Package.

It's $4.00 a month and if you were getting it before this week you should still be receiving. It sounds like a glitch from the channels added this week. It has happened with several others. Just call them and they should be able to straighten it out in about 1 minute. I can't believe that no one else here was able to answer this. All the knowledgeable ones must be on vacation.

Care to site a source for your claim of $4/month on Comcast, oh knowledgeable one?

I called Comcast earlier and he said it would be $4 more a month but that also includes some other sport channels. I'm still not real happy about paying that but what can I do. I am looking at other alternatives at this point.

Did they offer you the Sports & Entertainment package at $3.99 rate for 6 months?

I signed up for it at $2.99 for 6 months back in August; in February, it jumped to $5.99.

If the S&E pack rate dropped to $4, I guess that would be a good thing for the rest of us paying the higher rate.

Hi Rockotman, no he told me it would be $3.99 a month and did not mention about it being for a specific amount of time. I hope it does not go up after 6 months. Maybe because I explained to him that I was receiving it with Insight without paying extra, who knows.

My bill smart alec. It's not a promo but most likely that price due to the lack of channels in this area. Prices are not the same nationwide for all the packages.
