 Suddenlink Southern Louisiana strange issues

The past 2 weeks I have been having my connection stall. I will be surfing fine. Then all of a sudden it stops. Half the time I lose connection to my modem, regardless if it is plugged directly or not.

When I run speed-tests it shows the same thing. I will download at 2500 then it freezes and starts to drop. Sometime all the way to 0 then jumps up to 500 or so. Sometimes it will drop in slow increments and take me upwards of 5 minutes for a speedtest which is absurd.

I noticed a frequency in drops during the daytime from about 9-5pm. Most nights it runs fine but lately its complete trash all the time.

Also if anyone can give me a working tech support # that would be nice. Everytime I call the tech support number now from the tech support page or the Tv channel they redirect me to a disconnected number that is for Cox. Who refuses to help because they are not suddenlink. The Tech support number for sudenlink REFUSE to transfer me directly saying instead to call that cox number.

IF anyone can tell me what I can do to troubleshoot this or fix it that would be great.

What kind of modem do you have? If it's an older modem then it could be a problem with the modem itself. You can also check the signal levels your getting from your modem. Open your web brower and type 192.168.100.1 You want to look at your downstream signal level and your upstream signal level. Also a copy of the event log would be helpful.
I hope this helps. Get back to me with this info and we can go from there
