I would use the standard stuff such as Trango, Alvarion, and or Motorola Canopy to get your most bang for the buck. If you want to deploy quickly and keep your costs down>
What type of pricing does DSL offer $25 thats pretty cheap! If its less then what you will offer it makes no sense to deploy? Even with building your own gear its going to be very difficult to make any money doing wireless.
In other words why would they want to go with YOU if they can get DSL for cheaper etc? There has to be some advantage to you offering wireless.
I.E. maybe if you were in an area that they could NOT get DSL then you would have more of a chance to sell your service.
