| Shaw digital phone basic!
Shaw has a new tier on their phone service, called Shaw Digital phone basic for just $20.95. This new tier does not have things like extended local calling, call forward, 3-way calling, call return, selective call blocking, and anon call blocking. (compared to the Lite package which is $29.95).
I guess this is trying to switch the customers who have just like basic telus service over. Because according to telus's website, their service is $26.95 (for telus home phone, which includes just call display, call waiting, and unlimted local calls)

| reply to Googler The SDB plan does have use of 411 and any LD calls made are still 4c per min. Please post the right info. It is just a basic phone from the lite with no 3 way calling,Call forwarding or any extra features like that. It comes with one month free and no hook-up fee's. ill post up all the info in a little while.
Thank you |

What about my adsl?
thanks |

@sk.ca | It goes through a Shaw modem via Cable network that supplies your cable and inet. Does not go through phone wires, when you have adsl, you need to put it on dry line and get the phone from Shaw separately.
hope it helps |

| reply to Googler actually, shaw digital phone does use the telephone wires in your house, but how it gets to the house is through the cable, so onces it gets in your house it uses your house telephone wires, and if you have adsl. then the shaw tech will leave the wiring for your adsl modem alone and put the rest of the phone jacks in your house for use on the shaw digital phone. |
