Not always. My digital phone is hooked directly into the modem for the phone, as I only needed one phone jack.

Please post the right info. It is just a basic phone from the lite with no 3 way calling,Call forwarding or any extra features like that. This new tier does not have things like extended local calling, call forward, 3-way calling, call return, selective call blocking, and anon call blocking. (compared to the Lite package which is $29.95).

I guess this is trying to switch the customers who have just like basic telus service over. Because according to telus's website, their service is $26.95 (for telus home phone, which includes just call display, call waiting, and unlimted local calls)
