Re: DLG-4300 Cant Connect to server (everybody else can)

said by guanuma :

Hi guys,

I have a dsl-2320b connected to my dlg-4300 router, im trying to connect to a server but in the logs all im getting is this:

[INFO] Sun Feb 01 08:52:03 2004 UPnP added entry 255.255.255.255 200.88.2.51:5730 192.168.0.125:5730 UDP timeout:-1 '7314CCC11500'

note: 200.88.2.51 ===>> is my dsl modem

192.168.0.125 ===>> is the machine trying to connect to the server.

i try putting the machine in a DMZ and opens some ports that i find out it was need it.

is this still an issue on my end? or in the server that im trying to connect?

note: i have upnp enable on the router, but it seems like that doesnt work either.
Are you trying to pull it up by www.servernamehere.abc? If so you can not do that. No nat loopback.

Workaround, add a line in your hosts file such as:

www.servernamehere.abc 192.168.x.x (make this the correct LAN ip of the server)
