A&EHD and FOODHD problems.

Ever since they came online they have been terrible. All other channels are fine but they have horrible pixelization and drop so bad that they are unwatchable.

I have the same trouble but with DisneyHD also... Oddly I get really terrible pixelation and or audio is high pitched and dropping out (~33% of the time). The compression they are using is horrid... I may have to move to DirecTV, Dish Network or FiosTV.

I have the same problem in NJ. I called for service and they told me I would need "service protection" plan or pay for the service call. I said to the CSR what does this plan cover and she said the cable boxes.

I said to the CSR they are your boxes, you own them. The signal level is bad all over; you want me to pay? She got rude at that point so I terminated the call.

Anyone else hear such foolishness?

A rude Comcast CSR! What a shock. I think they put them through rudeness school. Our locals attitude went way downhill after the transition from Insight.

Erm, I see you live in Edison, NJ (at least that's what it says). How do you have Comcast? Edison is served by Cablevision.

House on LBI too. Cablevison is actually ok. Comcast used to be good at the Shore but has started the slide to hell.

I have noticed huge pixelation problems on all the new HD channels, especially SciFi HD during Battle Star Galactica, in the Comcast of Toms River system, which is also now serving the Long Beach Island system.

At least you have SciFi HD we got the shaft with our HD's. CNN???? No one even watches that channel in SD. Disney and ABC Family??? Less than 10% of their programming is in HD. It's Comcrapstic.
