A very simple travel voltage adapter would be no larger then a typical wall wart transformer, do exactly what you are wanting to do, and likely would be far cheaper.
Be careful there, most of those "travel adapters" are not rated for continuous use, and may run hot, burn out, and even catch fire. -- "Lithium is no longer available on credit"
