I think its sounds like you are being routed to a provisoning page. Comcast billing might not be recognizing your modem as paying for the service. It sounds like a page that I have seen before when people do self-installs and need to start up the billing for a new modem. You are going to have to call into tech support for this one I think.

if I had to guess I'd say either its your modem or a billing issue...

Re: Help with Comcast internet inside!!!

the page you are seeing is called the walled garden. call comcast and tell them your modem is in walled garden status and the should be able to reprovision for you.also check your connection settings.it should be set to auto. detect dns settings not "use these dns setting"

ordering CDV+HSI can also cause it, from how i hear it the database can sometimes go wonky and try and provision the eMTA that isnt due on the account for a few days.

I agree - I'd call billing.

Call billing, they have to bounce the modem and re-provision. Pay your bill and don't thread-monitor every 2 minutes...
