Hi there,

I also use GigaNews, from Salt Lake City, Utah. I am not having issues with speed between Comcast and there, but then I have a different route to the Internet. Try again after 10:00PM and see if things are better.

I have noticed their DNS response times lately are crap, though I also use Qwest's DNS from time to time, they are actually faster to send a response than Comcast..! (lol)

This might be a simple routing issue with Comcrap's network, due to bad weather and such lately, and possibly a lot of people being off today playing on the web. Try it again at an off hour.
