I can't remove the splitter because it's inside Cox's box on the side of the house and that thing is locked up tight. I unplugged the amp from power, but I can't actually get to the amp because it's in that box as well. Edit 2: The tap is literally in my back yard, and the drop is brand new. This neighborhood is only 4 years old, I'd be amazed if there were signal problems here already. I'm not sure why he put the amp on.
