(it was on a wide screen 37" or something. And the picture looked quite sharp. It did make me curious at the time because the picture looked quite good for SD.
I've noticed that too watching the games on A channel, some times it would be near HD quality, other times it looked so sick if i wasn't a die hard sens fan i would have skipped watching it. And this is on a 42" Sony you can really tell the difference between SD and HD in sporting events.
