I guess I will have to wait for TIVO to do something like that I have TIVO its great it beats cox's expensive DVR. Cox is not very competitive I don't think they really care ether. |

| How do you figure cox costs more? Tivo users buy there dvr's cox/cable rents them tivo monthly service might be cheaper, but most cox areas charge $4.95 for dvr fee plus $9.95 for box rental alot cheaper then tivo. |

I assume that you have to have Caller ID on your Cox line for that to work, but I'll try to remember to test the theory over the weekend.

 ajwees41 Premium join:2002-05-10 Omaha, NE | there are cable modems in the dvr's, but no cable company uses them for anything. Exception I heard comast/tivo uses the builtin cable modem for the tivo software download. |
