I have TIVO its great it beats cox's expensive DVR. Cox is not very competitive I don't think they really care ether. |

| How do you figure cox costs more? Tivo users buy there dvr's cox/cable rents them tivo monthly service might be cheaper, but most cox areas charge $4.95 for dvr fee plus $9.95 for box rental alot cheaper then tivo. |

I assume that you have to have Caller ID on your Cox line for that to work, but I'll try to remember to test the theory over the weekend.

Omaha, NE | there are cable modems in the dvr's, but no cable company uses them for anything. Exception I heard comast/tivo uses the builtin cable modem for the tivo software download. |
