| reply to tipstir Re: Wireless Router problems-connection needs to be repair often
I did a firmware update, and the problem persisted.
But today I might have found the source of my problem. Connected directly to modem the problem still happen. So, it could be my modem or my ISP.
How do I find out if it's my modem?
Edit: I registered to the site today, and chose a different name for the account, but I'm the OP. |

| Contact the ISP if you're renting the modem from them? They could try to connect to the modem and see if it's work correctly. They could replace the modem by sending a tech to your place or you could go and buy another modem but you'll need to call them up and give them the mac address of that modem or else you'll never connect to the internet. |
