Why dont you compare rogers to the other cable providers in canada. You'll find their pricing to be either a couple dollars more for faster service(mountain cable) or much less with a much higher bandwidth limit (videotron) or pretty much the same (shaw). Cable is traditionally more expensive then DSL only recently bell's pricing equals rogers because they feel they are delivering the same speeds(cough)
Yes your entire post is a rant, you came to no conclusion you didn't start with. Look around canada or ontario even. Their are competitive prices if thats what your after, its just not going to be a whole lot less or a whole lot better service in some cases. |
