| delete email account associated with internet account?
If my internet service is associated with an ID, can I delete the email address associated with that account? eg. if my main ID is "abc" and it came with "abc@telus.net", can I delete "abc@telus.net" without affecting the internet service? I want to make room for a different email user name. |

| reply to shunx You can't change/delete the main username/email on the account yourself but a csr can do it. Remember: lt = 1 e-mail 1.5 = 3 e-mails 3.0 = 5 e-mails 6.0 = 10 e-mails
River_rat's right about the alias' though. That's definitely the easiest way to change it. You're really not supposed to use the main username as the e-mail address that you provide to people. You should always create the username and password (the username is the e-mail by default) and always create an alias. It's easier to change it AND it's not limited to the username restriction of 3-8 characters. -- I may work for, but do not necessarily represent the views and beliefs of TELUS Communications. |
