While T.V. isn't a necessity, nor was selling off this spectrum either. The taxpayers don't fund the "public airways". However, we have been funding the FCC since 1934 so by that argument the Fed should have purchased your original television. BTW, this isn't the first spectrum auction by the FCC. |
