Use Mikrotik BTest to run small packet UDP test through two boards and you'll see the difference.
Actually odd thing is that people would believe the hype that MIPS based system with lower clock could be faster than PPC based one. But hey, if MT people are telling it is, then it must be, right? |

I don't have any to test because I have held off buying any because something was fishy. I can say this, if the chips include some kind of specific network acceleration it is feasible that a slower processor could out perform as faster one in the specific tasks it is accelerated for. Since Mikrotik hasn't posted any data for the boards, I will reserve judgement for the future. |
