Rogers Services?

has anyone gotten Roger Cable / HDTV before and called and cancelled it a week later before you didn't like it? Or any other services?

I am just wondering what the process is from Rogers side, if they beg you to death to keep the service with them or if they charge some kind of early cancellation fee?

I am going back to Bell today.

Thanks
Leathal

When I called Rogers and provided my 30-days notice to cancel all of my services (Home Phone, Internet, and Television) last Thursday (May 1st), Rogers credited my account back to May 1st. My May 25th (final) bill will be a credit. I explained to Rogers that I moved all of my services over to Bell. Rogers never tried to convince me to stay, rather, thanked me for all my years of doing business with them.

How can you get a credit?? , they owe you money if you've moved all your services over to Ma Bell

Don't ask me to explain it, I don't understand Rogers billing system. She did say, however, and I tell the truth, that my final bill (May 25th) will be a credit. I'm not going to argue with that

Yea but you better check it, they say one thing and do another when it comes to billing. Trust me I know.

gkc likely how you came to have a credit on the account. since they bill a month in advance and the 30 day disconnect is from the day you called. Sometimes they need to refund what they billed you for and in some cases what you payed for already. The 30 day disconnect was created to avoid that i believe anyways.

And *comfort* for going to bell. Rogers reps dont offer saves if you've already gone to bell. How would they possibly save you.

@stewy he can always just call and use the voice system to check his current balance. i would go as far to check it on all account numbers on your bill if you have one bill with multi products.
