Got an e-mail response from them, and they confirmed the same speed increases taking place tomorrow in Raleigh.

----------

Thank you for contacting us. The speed increase will take effect tomorrow,
5/6/08. The standard Roadrunner speed increases from 5 MBPS to 7 Mbps.
The Roadrunner Turbo speed increases from 8 Mbps to 10 Mbps.

Please let us know if we can be of any additional assistance.

Thank you for using Time Warner Cable.

Sweet. Sounds like it may be a state wide change tomorrow...

I am in Raleigh with Turbo. Thanks for the info there Scots. I hope they increase upload substantially. 8mbps down is already great but the upstream is really the annoying part about it. But hey i'm only paying $34.95 for mine so I can't complain too much.

The rep didn't mention it in the e-mail, but it's my understanding that they're not increasing the upload at all...only the download. Upload will stay at 384 for standard and 512 for turbo.
