Now I am a non-US ex-military person, and can give my unit in order to join your international military forum. I won't give my S.I.N for privacy reasons, and which is against Canadian law.

My english is broken at times and I prefer to write in French. But, for sure I don't agree with the US version and view of lots of military things, and I definately support those brave americans who faced jail time by crossing the border into Canada to avoid your war in Iraq. I am definately against the chemical technology (white phosphorous) used against civilians there too!

Now knowing this much more about me (and its not much), my stance, and my view, how welcome am I in your international military forum?

To what extent will you use my information that you want to gather?

I mean, you already stated that you will report to a "US gov agency" to check up on the authenticity of the americans who join your forum (at your discretion?). What about non-US military personel, like me? What are your privacy policies for this special forum?

Although I am ex-military, and I do see some fun to be had in this in terms of technology, I am sorry that I see an alternate view and agenda which has come out of you in both this topic and your previous one.

Its a recuitment mechanism (private invite(?) for those you deem mouldable)
Private info of multi-country people given in a country with weak or nil privacy laws (no offence intended),
Reporting to a "US gov agency",
and so forth...

As much as I enjoyed military life within my own country, this forum by all accounts and by all statements made is much more than about military life.

With all you have stated (especially the "reporting to a US Agency"), you are better off making your own forum on your own website, disclosing to the people who join all you will disclose to what agencies, and going solo with the help and income of a few people. Its very in-expensive and it can also be US specific and be a recuiting mechanism, and what ever else in on your agenda.

You are playing many sympathy cards here, "another vietnam", "the wounded" and so forth.

I take offence to it sir.

I don't like having the forum private. It won't necessarily degenerate into politics, but I think it will almost surely degenerate into inter-branch bickering whether public or private.
