You can also look at the Trango T-Link 10 which will work as well.

schj98 : I currently run a Tranzeo TR-5Plus-N link with 32dBi dishes at 37 miles.

Signal is -53dbm with a throughput of 15mbps TCP and 19mbps UDP.

Link has been up for almost a year and a half with 0 issues.

Of course LOS is key especially in a link at this distance. Run a radio mobile plot before your buy anything.

Hope this helps.

AMD Phreak : Yeah recieve power is -58dB. I'm leery about having such a low fade margin though on a path like this in our mountainous terrain. I'll PM you Hal so we do not threadjack this post.. :)

dongato17 : I think you should get about a -55dBm signal or so, which sounds like what your calcs are saying. If you don't need the full speed, you can use a lower modulation and get more fade margin. 20dB should be fine though.

-Hal

With the 27dB TX power and 34.4dBi dish on one side and 31dB dish on the other I get about 21dB of fade margin. Thats not very hot if you ask me.
