Mediacom Late Fees

Anyone have working knowledge of Mediacom's late fees and late fee policies? I am doing a side by side of Cable late fee amounts and late fee policies.

Thanks.

I know they add up fast. Unfortunately I only know about $20 field collection fee (if you pay the tech at your place).

If you just pay late and don't have to have a tech come to your door the late fee is 5bucks. Techs start getting the disco orders at 53days late, I think thats right don't quote me.

It depends on the area. In this area it's 70 days.

Collections people get our non-pays at 54 days past due here. As has been said there is a $20 fee if a payment is collected at the door-however in my area that fee is only for people who pay less than their current balance. If they get current then the fee is waived. But as has been said, different policies in different areas.

Wouldn't it be easier to just pay your bill on time? Who could possibly use "late fee policy" as a deciding choice on which service to get?

Then if you can't afford cable, maybe you shouldn't subscribe? Seriously, I'm tired of hearing people bellyache about 'fixed income' this and 'fixed income' that.

I think he might be researching late fees across the cable industry.
Late fee policy is often part of the franchise agreement, so it is important for franchisers to know how comparable markets are handling late fees.

People on fixed income usually can't do much but stay at home an watch TV.

Also he has every right to do research before doing business with any company.
