Your line looks good so I doubt you're losing sync. If it was a TSI-wide issue there would be a lot of posts in here. I'm guessing Bell is fooling around with your BAS (maybe related to the throttling hardware) and it's taking out your PPPoE session.

I've had constant disconnects today. I'm at work so I cant see whats going on but I can see my internet disconnecting through irc. Its happened almost 20 times today and as of last night I've been throttled to 30kb/s. Nothing I've done will change that, tried changing ports, rebooting cpu and router, tcp optimizer, encryption is on etc.

So I'm assuming the disconnects are related.

i'm just on regular bell HSI (dry), but there aren't a lot of recent posts/threads like this one in the bell forum

i've had no connection from about friday morning ~9am to ~noon today, saturday

even tried connecting directly from the computer to the modem (speedstream 5260) instead of through the router (WRT54-GL)

the weird thing is after getting nothing done with the tech, we mysteriously connect 15min after the call, just like what happened last week!

so about once a week or two, sometimes a few times a week, we'd be cut off from bell for hours at a time

i was considering going teksavvy but now it seems like it's any & every bell line?

I've actually been experiencing random disconnects for the past two or three weeks every sunday. Seems to occur around noon and stops sometime in the evening. Sucks

The connection to 1 - TekSavvy ADSL made by user ME@teksavvy.com using device PPPoE7-0 was disconnected.

Disconnected and received this event log at 11/05/2008 3:50:03 AM. Meanwhile, ADSL sync shows 7+ days of uptime.

I'm out West in British Columbia too, formerly a client of Telus.

I'm in the Broadview/Gerrard area and been having this problem for over a week now. DSL light goes off and takes few minutes to come back online. This happens 4-5 times an hour, all day.
