I too am having the same problem. Recently, my old Westell modem started loosing lock and it would reconnect after 20 or 30 seconds or so. I figured it was the modem since i've had it for 5 years. I ordered the 2wire wireless gateway and the modem still loses lock and resets. Now it happens 2-3 times an hour.

I have called ATT support and even had a tech come here and check the line. He even changed out the card at the junction box up the street.

i am dumbfounded as well.
