| Acanac is considering offering Usenet services.
Acanac is considering offering Usenet services. We would like your feedback on this issue. In your opinion is this a service that you would use? If so how high is it in your priority list?

@acanac.net | High Priority. If you can keep in it in the same tradition as your DSL service...Low Price, Unlimited Download...I'm in for sure. |

First year clients it would cost $10 per month. |

Acanac, adding newsgroup access to your VPS service would be a very very good idea. |

| reply to Acanac Inc I was just wondering the status of this? Is it going to proceed or was there not enough interest?
My opinion is that this would be a great service for Acanac to add, I'm currently using a 3rd party usenet service, but if I could get Internet and Usenet from one source that's what I'd prefer. |

What kind of retention? 30 days? 45 days? 90 days?
I would become a subscriber if the usenet offering was good.

It has not been decided, but it will be competitive with some of the paid services. It will be offered for free.
What kind of retention? 30 days? 45 days? 90 days? Also has not be decided, but we hope to offer it for at least 30 days.
Just to give you a time line. We are just finishing up our Voip Network upgrade. Once this is complete Newsgroups will be our next project. |
