P.S. Any one of them will support DSL so you just need the cheapest POTS line. Also see if dry DSL is available to you from Verizon Internet as then you will not need POTS service at all. The fee for dry DSL might be higher than what you pay for line shared DSL but figure the cost of the cheapest POTS line plus the DSL cost to figure any potential savings. -- Always Reach Beyond Your Grasp |

| reply to ebubman Ask your Verizon sales rep if they offer a "Usage Pricing Plan" for local phone service at your service location.
Under this no-frills plan, the customer is charged for ALL local calls on a per-minute basis but is given a monthly allowance ($2 for example). If you use less than the monthly allowance for all local calls, the calls are free. You will rarely, if ever, see this Usage Pricing Plan advertised in Verizon marketing literature or on their web site.
The "Usage Pricing Plan 1" in the Houston, TX area costs $16.36 per month including ALL fees and taxes. Your results may vary. This may be a lower cost alternative to dry DSL. |
