The loss on an RG11 connection is lower than on RG6 which is why it was used for the long run. |

| Well, my girlfriend moved here two years ago, and Rogers was suppose to extend their main line down those three polls to the end of the road where she is so the installer (contractor) could hook her up for cable TV. She waited two months and nothing. She called again, said they'd do it that week and scheduled another day to install at the house. Contractor showed up, still not done, so she said forget it and got a satellite dish. 2 years later we want internet...went through the same thing with them, finally the contractor said to hell with it, and ran the RG-11. Thank God...no DSL out here where we are. |
