| incompatible signal rec'd
Has anyone received this error message on their fios service? i get them every now and then. And recently i got it while watching a program. When i get it, i have to unplug the box, wait for it to boot up then everything will be fine.
is there a quicker way? and why does it happen?

| Let the old swame try and answer are u using HDMI? and do you have a Samsung tv? If so switch to componenet cables and all will be well until the new firmware comes out to fix the handshake issue with some tv's. |

| reply to FIOS HELP It happens on occasion with my Sharp. Sometimes it's the cats walking behind it and they knock the HDMI cables loose. Other times I have to do as you do and unplug the box to get it to reset. -- Team Discovery |

@co.uk | reply to FIOS HELP I am using a sharp as well. I think i will opt to go for the component and see if that works. I hate having to reset the box esp in the middle of a tense show or close game.
