d_l, how can you tell if your line is on interleaved mode or not, assuming Pro and 4100b modem? I can get the stats from modem but how can one tell? I think from what we have seen so far, any attenuation over about 52.0 dB is too much for Elite speeds (and that value may be lowered with more reports from newly upgraded lines).

Is your sync stable or does it keep dropping/re-syncing?

You should check the stats again at your NID to see if they improve dramatically: »AT&T Southeast Forum FAQ »How do I check modem stats, synch rates & speeds at NID - Residential Housin, otherwise, I think your loop is excessively long.

If the stats don't improve at your NID, maybe you can have your POTS circuit transferred to a nearby RT in your neighborhood if one is available.
