Actually more like 600 in four innings, considering he had thrown 250 in only an inning and 1/3.
Has the Kawamoto coach ever heard about changing pitchers, I wonder?

And it seems to me the risk of injury would more likely stem from being clobbered by screaming line drives than over-throwing.
