In the last couple of years, I've been told that 6.0 "is not available in your area". I find that hard to believe, also because I used to be on an ADSL2+ port.
Even though at the moment we are quite happy with 3.0, I cannot help but wonder why telus would try to prevent customers from paying a higher rate? There must be a reason. |

I don't know if it's done on purpose (maybe they prefer you to be on 3.0? its only $5 more for twice the bandwidth) or if its general incompetence of the customer service reps.
When I called them up they couldn't tell me if 6.0 was possible until I was hooked up with 3.0 first, then once I was connected they said I was ineligible for 6.0 but eligible for telus tv. It seems a little fishy... |
