Is that true?<br><br> </div>If by "voip" you mean Cox Digital Phone, then not at all.  In fact, you want to have Digital Phone and High Speed Data on your eMTA if possible as it will eliminate the 3.5db loss from the extra split.<br><br>If by "voip" you mean an Internet based phone provider, then the answer is "maybe, but probably not"...since you have no quality of service mechanism for Internet phone as you do with Cox Digital Phone there is nothing to prevent your data packets from swamping your phone packets or vice-versa and causing drops.  Since the Internet phone packets are relatively small, it is actually more likely that these would be impacted by heavy data use rather than the other way around.<br><br>Again, with Cox Digital Telephone we setup quality of service mechanisms to ensure this does not happen.<br><br>More than likely the issue you are describing is related to signal quality issues. But, this modem does have voip, cable tv and internet active at the same time. It drops the connection fairly often and I'd like to check stats and logs.<br><br>Will someone post the numbers I need to type in the address bar?<br><br>Thanks]]></description>
