Half the time it can't even find my phone numbers, two of which already have service and have had for years. Getting the Direct folks involved is probably your best bet.

That U-verse blurb is just an ad they stick on if it determines you are out of DSL range. It does not mean U-verse is available.

U-Verse has it's own equipment and is in locations that can't service users DSL.

For instance at my location I have had comcast up till Feb. of this year. I was to far from a CO and RT so no choice except comcast cable.
