as long as the existing cable is rg6 then it should be fine. If you only need 2 cables he should be able to run them from the sat to your distribution area and go from there. He will need to also install a grouding block though do you have a possible ground at that location? Most home grounds are out by the utility box area, at least thats where mine is. Maybe he is wanting to run them to that location for that reason?? |
