Rally in Ottawa on the 27th ?

Has there been any more info for the rally, as in is it still tentative, or has it become a fixed date? I have lieu time due to me from work, but need to give advance notice "when" I want to take it. Thx

When can we expect any additional details on this supposed event ?

When is the deadline to register on the netneutralityrally web site ? Can people just show up without having registered ?

Anyone have a pointer to parliament web site that has rules for protests ? (can we bring beer ? can we bring bikes ? are there rules for this and that ?)

Sadly, it seems like the momentum has been lost, IMHO.
Changing the date several times has not helped.

According to the Magic 8 ball, "Outlook not so good"

ah well

@videotron.ca
I'll still be there even we're only 10 people.

Its the principle of a large corporation deciding which business models their partners do not approve of.

Well, that's a bit strange. Yesterday (and I confirmed in my "history"), there was a link on the Netneutrality.ca page, to confirm if you could make it for the rally. As of now, it's no longer there. Clicking the link in yesterday's history, the page "can't be displayed".

Not too much fun I hope! If you want to be taken seriously.

BTW, avoid the black Suburban van with the dark tinted windows. I used to work downtown Ottawa and would get stuck getting past all kinds of demonstrations. I noticed that black van on several occasions. Once as I was approaching from behind it, the door opened, and I got a quick peek in.

You don't want to know!

I have to work. But I am also starting to rethink my position on this topic.

Hey gang,

I've been out a lot over the last few days, so I'm just now getting up to speed on various discussions.

We need to start forming a list to give a heads-up to various locations of the volume of people that are going to join us on parliament hill, so please go to the following location and let us know you will be participating in Ottawa....

So it is confirmed then for the 27th? The site still says that date is tentative.

Mr Rocky,

Glad to see you are still alive. Many were worried by your extended absence. We were worried that perhaps you had gotten a life

The "whatis2.asp" page you alluded to asks us to CONFIRM OUR PRESENCE. There is another page on that web site with similar wording.

I can't "confirm" my presence. But I would be happy to indicate my intentions to try to be there, depending on what sort of transportion options are avaiable.

I sspect the folks southwest of Ottawa (Kingston to Windsor) are the ones who would need transportation options the most.

I do have a life! I just don't sleep in order to get one!

Was at a cybercrime conference for the last couple of days.... trying to help protect kids on line.

I'll be removing the "tentative" statement as the date is now official. We are going with the 27th now.
