coolz @xo.net	reply to coolz Re: [DIRECTV] directtv has to run separate cable instead existin he didn't mention about any grounding issue. the distance between the satellite and distribution area is around 5ft. that's it. i couldn't understand what he was explaining to me. he was keep on insisting me that he has to dig the hole and his spoken language lacks so very hard to understand for me. sorry to say this. but this is also made me hard to understand him.

Computer Hardware ..	If you didn't have the installation done - call DirecTV and get the number for the installation company. Call them up and tell them PRECISELY WHAT YOU WANT. Explain that the "other" tech was unable to communicate with you and understand your needs. If they balk - call DirecTV back and tell them that you're having a problem with their installation company. Find a local contractor who has satellite experience, and get a price quote from him. Relay that to DirecTV, and tell them you want it done right and will consider a credit (off future bills at $X/month) for having it done yourself. (Others have tried this tact successfully).
