I think your modem is running at much less than full power so that maxrate estimate is too low. 32.5 dB attenuation should be capable of Elite speeds easily.
If you can see this dev/null post before it disappears: »/forum/r204396···oreAfter , then this is a line running at full power with about 27 dB attenuation. The top graph is with a bridged tap and the bottom is after removal.
Are you using a 4100, 5100b, or a 4100b modem now? It helps to interpret the attenuation levels. |
