Aygeear : Found my problem... it was a defective ethernet cable connecting the Westell modem to the Belkin router. Earthlink was not at fault, it was my equipment. Replaced the cable and everything is working normally once again.
--
If we don't stand for something, we'll fall for anything... There are no simple answers... only simple people!

Aygeear : DSL stopped working on Friday (5/2/08). Been on dialup since then at good speed (50667). Westell Wirespeed modem connected to Belkin Wireless router. Called Earthlink, they say "no outages in your area". Diagnostics say I am connected to ISP but not to internet. Three solid lights on Westell say I am connected to DSLAM. Anyone in this area having problems? Any ideas? Last time this happened it went on for almost a week, then magically came back to life. I was about to try another modem when service suddenly returned. Been working great until last Friday.
--
If we don't stand for something, we'll fall for anything...

There are no simple answers... only simple people!
