ADSL2+ can get up to 24 mbps speeds. If you haven't opened the package, how do you know that it isn't a 4100b? None of the AT&T Yahoo modem packages say 4100b on them. They will say Speedstream 4101 on the bar code label. The modem itself has a 4100b label on the bottom.
