The other two never did get to work after 2+ hours.

My advice: Use the free service, but don't waste any money on Premier
--
No good deed goes unpunished.

mikes60 : The other side of the story.

I signed up for the Wi-Fi Premier service last week at $19.99 a month (the $9.99 deal is not available in Florida), because I was leaving on a business trip on Sunday. The hotel and convention center I was going to be at, both were listed as AT&T Premier sites.

Neither worked, and after 2 hours on the phone with tech support, it was obvious that wherever they used a roaming partner service was questionable. They also had no idea how I needed to sign on to a partner. After almost an hour with AT&T support, the just transferred me to tech support at their roaming partner- both times. After I was on hold for about 20 minutes- both times. I called back to AT&T and told them that I wanted to cancel, and would not pay the $20 early cancellation fee. The quickly agreed after looking at the notes on my account.

I love my DSL and Cell service, but Wi-Fi- no thanks. I'll just pay the $12.99 a day in the hotel and again in convention center.
--
No good deed goes unpunished.
