You can use power injectors or a PoE switch to power the LWAPs over any distance of CAT5e capable (assuming its terminated correctly). Using the WLC you can control power settings, coverage, monitor who is connected, and deploy changes over every AP with the click of a mouse. Little more expensive than a traditional solution, but works very well. If you have the money, you can also purchase Ciscos WCS solution that runs on a server (or in a VM) that will provide you AP placement using drawings of the rooms in which the APs are located, allows for planning of increased user density, predicts speed coverage based on AP placement, etc. Great piece of software, but may be a little overkill for what is being done.

Seriously though, I suggest a WLC2006 (maybe a 4402 if you need more than 6APs) and a few LAP-1131AG access points. It makes everything that much easier.

I have got internet cafe, and I am looking to share internet with neighbors, who are they around me in circle area (500 - 1000 m),,,,,how can I share the internet connections with them wirelessly ?

number of users around 40 ,,,,they live in 8 different buildings (12-Level, brick and concrete)around the shop, and the shop is in the ground level of one of these buildings.

If you get a 192.168.x.x address out of it, it is a router as well as a modem.

One router is not enough, because router has got 4 ports

The way I picture it - and I may be way off- that I have to connected the basic ADSL modem to a router (Ethernet cable from the adsl modem to the WNA port of the router) and then connect one of the LAN port of that router to a switch (12 ports switch or may be 24 ports) and connect those 10 APs to that switch

Any other idea.

What is one of the popular access point that cover range from 500 m to 1000 m
