Yes as Thinkdiff See Profile mentioned try. Just keep in mind there is quite a bit of self-promotion by webhosts in that forum.

Just a note, if your domain is currently registered with Godaddy, then you should definitely not use Godaddy as the webhost. It is good practice to keep your domain registrar and webhost separate. It prevents one service from being held hostage for the advantage of the other service.

Doesn't really make a difference at all. Any webhost should give you FTP access, and that's pretty much the same on any platform.
