Why do you want to burn the update to a CD? you can just copy it into the Parallels windows partition by dragging the update file into the parallels window.
But yes, you can also burn it that way. The SP3 installer from MS is just a regular exe file.
You don't even need to use Toast, you can just use the Finder's built in disc burning. |

| The reason I would want SP3 to be on a CD is so that I would not need to go through the time and hassle of downloading it again if I should need it for another purpose. For example, if I should decide to use Boot Camp instead of Parallels, I don't believe you can drag anything between the Windows and Mac partitions, since only one can run at a time.
For SP1 and SP2, Microsoft provided free CD's of the Service Packs that you could order, but it appears they are not doing this with SP3. I feel sorry for the people with dial-up or very slow broadband connections. |

I would think that the slipstreaming could be done in XP within Parallels, but I didn't try it. |
