| reply to Thinkdiff Re: [windows] Can I burn an XP, SP3 disc on my Mac?
The reason I would want SP3 to be on a CD is so that I would not need to go through the time and hassle of downloading it again if I should need it for another purpose. For example, if I should decide to use Boot Camp instead of Parallels, I don't believe you can drag anything between the Windows and Mac partitions, since only one can run at a time.
For SP1 and SP2, Microsoft provided free CD's of the Service Packs that you could order, but it appears they are not doing this with SP3. I feel sorry for the people with dial-up or very slow broadband connections. |

I would think that the slipstreaming could be done in XP within Parallels, but I didn't try it. |
