I was told by the Greensboro office that the "triad" rr was going from 5 to 10 for standard residential and turbo was going from 8 to 15. Wonder why Greensboro is getting more than other areas in NC? I'm glad I'm fed out of that plant. I haven't checked the speeds yet, however. |

| I'm on a triad rr connection. I rebooted my cable box and used speakeasy's speed test and got the following...
Download Speed: 5973 kbps (746.6 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 371 kbps (46.4 KB/sec transfer rate)
So it appears, at least in my area, that they only boosted the download speed...1 meg...not the doubling that the GSO office told you. |
